Try to remember . . . that come September the HIPAA Omnibus regulation will be in full effect.
It technically takes effect today, but the compliance date is 180 days out. This means that you still have time to get your act together, to figure out how the new rules affect your operations and your business associates’ operations, and to retool agreements, policies and procedures and operations.
