Bush vetos SCHIP bill

When el presidente tries to act more conservative than Orrin Hatch on social issues one must ask: what gives? Well, today, the C-in-C vetoed the SCHIP reauthorization bill. Check out some background on the SCHIP drama over the past couple of months at the Health Affairs Blog here and here. An override seems unlikely, but perhaps moral outrage could sway some Republican representatives.
